alignjustifyA memorial service for Henry Hank, Boldt will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 22, 2009, at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.

Cremation will take place.

alignjustifyMr. Boldt, 75, died August 14, 2009, at Lea Regional Medical Center. He was born December 30, 1933, in Iowa City, Iowa.

alignjustifyHank served in the military and was a longtime resident of Hobbs. He retired as a detention officer with the Hobbs Police Department. Hank had many friends in the senior community. He was well known as the crossing guard on North Turner. He had a hello wave for everyone who passed by.

alignjustifySurvivors include a daughter, Karin Koval of Hubert, North Carolina; two brothers, Gene Boldt of Ankeny, Iowa, and Charlie Boldt of Urbandale, Iowa; two sisters, Rosanne Philpott of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Cindy Kennedy of Buford, Georgia; and a grandson, Peter Koval of Hubert, North Carolina.

alignjustifyHank was preceded in death by his brother, Martin Boldt.
