Herlinda Marroquin

Herlinda P. Marroquin, 85, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at Hobbs Health Care. She was the first of ten children born to Ismael and Paula Cavazos Perez, on April 17, 1927, in Mexico.
She married Francisco Marroquin on Sept. 17, 1947.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years two daughters, Elena Tarin, and her husband Johnny, of Hobbs and Martha Gamez, and her husband John, of San Angelo, TX. nine grandchildren and sixteen greatgrandchildren. Also surviving her are one sister and four brothers, all of Monterrey, Mexico.
Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 7, from 58 pm at Chapel of Hope, with rosary beginning at 6 pm.
Graveside services will be Sat. Dec. 8, 2012, at 2pm, at Prairie Haven Memorial Park, with Rev. Ruben Romero and Pastor Elio Barrios presiding.
Services are under the direction of Chapel of Hope.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff at Hobbs Health Care and the staff at Vista Care Hospice.
Pallbearers will be Hector Tarin, Edwin Tarin, Damian Gamez, Zachary Tarin, Glenn Turner, Jr. and Troy Turner.
