Imogene Armstrong

Imogene "Gene" Siniard Armstrong passed away peacefully at home with her devoted husband by her side May 2, 2015. She was born August 31, 1926 in Chillicothe, Texas.
She is preceded by her father Marvin Siniard, mother Nettie Mae Holden Westbrook and siblings, Pauline, Wanda, Sidney and Tim.

She has four loving children, Kay Armstrong Waltmon, Sue Armstrong Cortese, John Shaw Armstrong, Jr. and spouse Candice Connell Armstrong, Ellen Armstrong O'Brien and spouse Timothy Ernest O'Brien.

She is the cherished Grandmother of Katherine Cortese and friend Juan Carlos Olivar, Micha Cortese Adatto and spouse Bradford Ellis Adatto, Matthew Shaw Waltmon and spouse Charity Culver Waltmon, Patrick Armstrong O'Brien and fiancé Samantha Long, Peter Timothy O'Brien, Andrew Armstrong O'Brien and spouse Rachael Stanley O'Brien, John Kyle Armstrong and spouse Cammie Goff Armstrong and Elizabeth Armstrong Neff and fiancé Mark Hargrove.

She is the adored Great Grandmother of Colton, Kodi and Cooper Armstrong; Sage, Skylar, and Stace Neff; Shaylee and Cole Waltmon; and Ellis and Madeleine Adatto.

She was the owner of Gay Paree Salon and later The Toy Chest. Gene loved travel, art, painting, books and entertaining in her cherished home. She had a deep passion for her family.

She was considered by her friends to be gracious, kind and elegant. We hold dear our wonderful memories.
