James Cobbs

James Truly Cobbs, 89, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather went to his heavenly home on March 25, 2020. He was born on May 1, 1930 in Belmont, LA. He was born to Asa Amos Cobbs and Alda Pauline Cobbs. He is survived by his wife Margie Helen Cobbs, daughter Vickie Nagalapadi, son James (Bud) Cobbs, and daughter Tammie Pryer. He had 10 grand children, 13 great grand children. Truly and Helen were married for 65 years. He enjoyed yard work, tinkering with small engine repair, and sitting on the couch holding his bride's hand. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 1 son, Neil Cobbs. James served in the U.S. Army from 1952-1954. He retired from Burlington Resources Inc. in 1989.
