James Merrell went to be with his savior on August 6, 2018.

James was born in Lovington, NM on May 16, 1940 to Van and Marie Merrell.

He is survived by his wife Jean of 57 years, two sons; Randy Merrell of Las Cruces, NM and Rusty and wife Cheryl Merrell of Key Largo, FL, four granddaughters, two grandsons, nine great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
