March 28, 1957 — April 27, 2020

Hobbs

Jaminette Elaine Brumley entered into this world on March 28, 1957 and was called home on April 27, 2020. She was a graduate of Hobbs High School. She attended college obtaining a degree as an LVN. Over the years, she became a hospice nurse helping countless amount of people, both patients and family members.

She was a natural caregiver who had an endless amount of love to give. Her pride and joy resided in her dogs Buddy and Lucy as well as her goldfish. Her presence lifted the energy in the room, her smile brightened everyone’s day, and her laugh was contagious. She was a kind and outgoing soul who loved to travel and experience new things in life. Her favorite places to travel included the beach alongside her family and to the Mardi Gras festival in Orange County where she would sing and dance her heart out, until she couldn’t hold anymore beads.

She is preceded in death by the father of her children Willie Goode and her second husband Royce Brumley, her parents Helen and James White and daughter Lisa Goode.  She is survived by brother Greg White of Hobbs NM, children Melissa Goode and Michael Goode of Lubbock, TX, and grandchildren Hailey Goode, Jenna Bohannon, Kenzie Goode, Paige Manes, Donavon Armendariz, Brianna Carrasco, and Baylin Branstetter.
