Jenny Herrera

Jenny Sue Herrera, 67, of Hobbs, NM passed away on September 23, 2022.  She was born on October 12, 1954, to Peggy and James Meadows in Kermit, TX.  She grew up in Jal, NM before moving to Louisiana in 1974.  While in Louisiana, she was a stay-at-home mom to her three children who she loved more than anything.  In 1987 she moved back to New Mexico and eventually began working at Waste Management in 1993.  She enjoyed her work family and serving the citizens of Lea County until she retired in 2017.  Jenny could be described as loving and caring as she was always willing to help others when in need.

She was preceded in death by her mother Peggy Adams and her father James Meadows.

Jenny is survived by her son Chad Fuller and wife Michelle of Breaux Bridge, LA; son Adam Fuller and wife Brandy of Stuttgart, AR; daughter Christi Hardy and husband William of Baton Rouge, LA; sister Rena Seay and husband Eddie of Hobbs, NM; brother Steve Meadows of Las Cruces, NM; grandchildren Sydney and Samuel Fuller; niece Kelly Harrison and nephew Michael Seay.

A small memorial service will be held in Louisiana for friends and family at a future date.
