At the age of 51, Johnny Alan Dyer lost the fight with cancer. Born and raised in Hobbs, NM, he graduated from Hobbs High School. Johnny had a kind and loving heart. He never missed the opportunity to take in the "homeless", whether it be human or his four-legged, furry dogs.
Johnny worked as a licensed plumber and then moved to operating heavy equipment in the oilfield. Any spare time was spent on the water fishing or experiencing unforgettable adventures with his live long friend, Charley Pixley.
He is survived by his parents; Thomas "Bill" and Beverly Dyer of Hobbs, sister; Holly Draper (David), nephews; Joshua and Jacob Draper of Colorado, uncle and aunts; Barney Ball, Brenda Dyer, and Debbie Turner of Hobbs, uncle; Steve (Melody) Gamble of Carlsbad, numerous cousins, and grandparents Bobby and Jolene Gamble of Hobbs, NM.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Fred and Annie Ball, uncles; Bobby Dale Gamble, John Dyer and aunt Mary Dyer Lawson.
As per Johnny's wishes there will be no services.
Rest in everlasting peace our Sweet Son. Always loving you and missing you!
