Judith L. Brock

June 30, 1943 — October 29, 2025

Judith Lamar Brock, a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and cherished friend, went to her eternal home on October 29, 2025, in Lubbock, Texas. She was born on June 30, 1943, in San Angelo, Texas, to Doris Payne Hester and Jock Hester.

In June 1958, Judith married the love of her life, Bobby Brock, in San Angelo, Texas, embarking on a lifelong partnership filled with love and devotion that spanned 55 years. Their journey together led them from Bronte, Texas, to Oil Center, New Mexico, in 1964, where they resided until 1986 before making their home in Eunice, New Mexico.

Judith was truly the heart of her family and the steadfast rock that held them together. Her love was unwavering, her laugh infectious, and her presence brought comfort and joy to all who knew her. She found immense pleasure in the simple beauties of life, particularly anything outdoors. She loved gardening, camping, and enthusiastically cheering on her children and grandchildren at their sporting events. Judith also enjoyed cooking, watching and listening to the Cardinals, and lovingly crocheting blankets for her beloved grandchildren.

For 18 years, Judith dedicated her time and warmth to the First Baptist Church nursery, where she was affectionately known as "Granny" by countless children whose lives she touched.

Judith was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bobby Brock; her parents, Doris and Jock Hester; her son-in-law, Terry Newton; her sisters, Joan Davis and Billie Wallace; and her brothers, Ronald Hester and Terry Payne.

She is survived by her loving children: Kay Newton of Eunice, New Mexico; Debbie Cole and her husband David of Midland, Texas; and Michael Brock of Eunice, New Mexico. She also leaves behind her sisters, Sharon Arnold of San Angelo, Texas, and Carol Lawrence and her husband Travis of Granbury, Texas. Judith was a proud grandmother to Corey Cole and his wife Christina, and Christy Fosse and her husband Blake. Her legacy continues through her six adored great-grandchildren: Rylee, Whitlee, Ashlynn, Bryce, Gage, and Callum, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Heartfelt gratitude to the Elite Home Health Care staff.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Judith's memory to the Eunice Senior Citizens.
