Judy Roberts

Judy Roberts was born on February 27, 1950, in Hobbs, New Mexico and passed away on the early days of May 2024. Judy was born to Ernest and Mary Rainbolt. Judy was preceded in death by her husband Lee Roberts who she was married to for over 30 years.

After marrying Lee, Judy quickly began to develop herself as an entrepreneur in the local community. She started J&L Janitorial Services which developed into a carpet cleaning and restoration service. Even with her busy schedule, Judy always found time to help Lee with the cattle business. Judy also owned and ran an antique store off Broadway in downtown Hobbs. Judy, along with Lee, started another successful business in J&L Land farm, which specialized in the reclamation of contaminated dirt from the oilfield.

Because Judy felt blessed by her success in business and life, she was always a giving and charitable person who donated to the community she was born and raised in.

Judy is survived by her two sons, Jonathan Dimock of Midland, TX and Todd Dimock of Hobbs, NM, daughters-in-law, Romina Dimock and Melissa Dimock, sister, Cheryl Jahns and brother Tim Rainbolt. Also, her nieces include Racheal and Laura and grandchildren, Richard, Nathan (deceased), Corey, Jose, Christian and Grace. Judy also had three great-grandchildren, Isla, Liam and Luna.
