Kali Shea Hood

Kali Shea Hood, age 18, of Hobbs, N.M., passed away unexpectedly on November 9, 2025.

Born July 5, 2007, in Hobbs, N.M., Kali was the cherished daughter of Jordan and Ashley Hood and beloved sister of Heath Hood. As a 2022 high school graduate, Kali was pursuing her dream of working in the medical field.

Kali lived life unconditionally on her terms. She marched to the beat of her own drum—at her own pace—just like her beloved Gigi. Her laugh and sarcasm could break the silence of any room. Kali loved unconditionally with a spirit that could not be broken. She always beamed when she could surprise you with a “just because” gift filled with thoughtful goodies.

A celebration of Kali’s beautiful life will be held at 3:30 p.m. on November 17, 2025, at Chapel of Hope. A visitation will take place before the Service beginning at 10a.m.
