Karen Purucker
August 20, 1936 — December 3, 2011
Karen Noll Purucker, a 20 year resident of Hobbs, NM, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2011. She is survived by her sister Nancy Herring of Wilmington, NC, and her two sons, Christ and Kurt Purucker.
Karen was born in Cincinnati, OH, August 20, 1936. She graduated from the University of Michigan College of Architecture and Design. During her career as an artist, she was a sculptor, potter and finally a weaver and raised her own Navajo Churro sheep.
The family will hold private memorial services to honor Karen.
