Kathryn Hobbs

It is with deep sorrow we announce the death of Kathryn Hobbs (Katie), who was called home on May 21st, 2024. Katie was born February 4th, 1991, in Hinsdale, IL to Joanna McKenna and Michael McKenna. Katie was a beautiful pure soul who loved and was loved by anyone she met. She lived her dream life with her husband and lifelong love Travis Hobbs - Lea County Sheriff's Office with whom she raised three sweet children Ryder (6), Brooklyn (3), and Grayson (17mo). She was the most selfless person and cared only for others, she lived that everyday as an Emergency Room Nurse at Nor-Lea Hospital. Those that knew Katie will remember her only as the most wonderful and kind person they ever had the joy of loving.

Kathryn is survived by her parents Michael and Joanna McKenna, siblings Drew & Wife Chrissi, Brandon, Michael, Lindsey, and grandmother Wendy Hankey. A multitude of family and friends. She is preceded by her grandparents Bernard and Anne McKenna.
