Kennard Brady

Funeral services for Kennard W. Brady, 85, of Hobbs, NM on Friday, October 11, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Fellowship of Believers in Hobbs, NM. Visitation will be Thursday, October 10, 2019 from 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm with family in attendance from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Chapel of Hope.

Kennard was born December 16, 1933 in Paducah, TX to W. H. and Amy Brady.  He passed away on October 4, 2019 in Duncan, OK.

Kennard loved old classic cars and was a member of the Roadrunner Antique Car Club in Hobbs.  He was an avid Nascar fan (Kevin Harvick being his favorite).

He and his wife Nora loved RVing and attending bluegrass festivals.  He loved gospel, country and bluegrass music.  He loved listening to his good friends Willie and Roxie Luster play and sing, and Jade Thornberry played fiddle.

Preceding him in death were his parents, W.H. and Amy Brady, his first wife Peggy, his sister; Connie, brother-in-law; Henry Owens, son; Tommy, granddaughter; Becky and great-grandson; Quinton.

He is survived by his wife; Nora Brady, his son; Kendall Brady and wife Alice of Hobbs, daughter; Teresa Prudencio and husband Steve of Lubbock, TX and daughter; Tammy Ross and husband Mark of California City, CA, sister; Ruth Meier of Minnesota, brother; Allen Brady and wife Lou of Duncan, OK, brother-in-law Johnny Owens and wife Linda of Duncan, OK, V. L. Owens and wife Charlotte of Duncan, OK, sister-in-law; Helen Smith of Waurika, OK, step-daughter; Brenda Philips and stepson; Archie Swanson, grandchildren; Clint, Roni, Robyn, Sean, and Tab and nine great-grandchildren.
