A memorial service for Kenneth Lee Thomas of Hobbs, N.M., will be held at a later date.

Mr. Thomshy;as, 49, died May 30, 2007, in Hobbs, N.M. He was born May 16, 1958, in Mt. Carmel, Ill.

Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer Higginbotham of State Center, Iowa; his mother, Dorothy Thomas of Hobbs, N.M.; five sisters, Teresa Ruiz of Hobbs, N.M., Jeany Velasquez of Hobbs, N.M., Karen Romero of Albuquerque, N.M., Tracy Cruz of Hobbs, N.M., and Tonya Meadows of Hobbs, N.M.; and two brothers, Terry Thomas of Houma, La., and Dennis Thomas of Hobbs, N.M.

He was preceded in death by his father, James L. Thomas, and a nephew, Daniel R. Hoover.
