She entered this world on March 6, 1954, in Roswell NM, born to Carl and Betty Owens. She is survived by her husband Dennis Shearer; daughter Krista (Steve) Butler; son Kevin (Alice) Shearer; daughter Amber Shearer; grandson Chris Butler; granddaughter Suukiie Butler; grandson Jaxson Butler; grandson Braven Morris; grandson Michael Garrett; granddaughter Allyssa Garrett; grandson Caleb (Salaisy) Shearer; granddaughter Jasmine (Anthony Pacheco) Shearer; granddaughter Gracelyn Simpkins; great-grandson Gael Pacheco; great-granddaughter Amaia Shearer; one brother Bill Brooks and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death is her mother Betty Owens Adams; father Carl Owens and her step dad LJ Adams; brothers Chester Brooks; Coby Brooks; sisters Kathy Williams;  Barbara LeClear.
