Kristin Denae Alvarez, 34 of Hobbs, NM passed away on February 1, 2024.

Kristin is survived by her two sons Sebastian Carrasco and Jace Rivas of Hobbs, NM. Mother Jessica Carrasco and Stepfather Oscar Caballero of Hobbs, NM. Sister Ciara Aranda of Hobbs, NM, Brothers Anson (Kim) Cordova and Austin Cordova of Lubbock, TX. Maternal Grandparents Cleta (Patrick) Reina of San Angelo, TX. Three stepbrothers Marcos (Ruby) Caballero, Gary (Madi) Caballero, Oscar Caballero Jr. Stepsister Xena (Luis) Valenzuela. Father Adolfo Alvarez Jr. of Carlsbad, NM. Paternal Grandparents Delia (Adolfo) Alvarez of Carlsbad, NM. Uncles Sam Carrasco of Midland, TX, Cory (Jessica) Espinosa and Joshua Espinosa of San Angelo, TX, Cion Ortega and Randy Arena of Houston, TX, Ricky (Hermila) Ortega and Danny (Debbie) Ayala of Lovington, NM, Aaron (Rebecca) Alvarez of California, and Andrew Alvarez. Aunts Yvonne Anaya of Midland, Tx, Abbie Alvarez of Carlsbad, NM, Brenda (Mike) McDurmitt of Lovington, NM, Bessie Casillas of Hobbs, NM. Niece Aubrey Cordova of Lubbock, TX. Cousins Sam (Jazlyn) Carrasco of New Jersey, Christian (Briana) Carrasco of Austin, TX, Vanessa (Sammy) Ramirez of Midland, TX, Holden Espinosa of San Angelo, TX, Alex Alvarez, Marcus Alvarez, and Araceli Alvarez and many more loving cousins, extended family and friends who deeply mourn her passing. She is preceded in death by her Maternal Grandfather Anselmo "Sam" Carrasco and Maternal Great Grandmother Zenaida "Sandy" Ortega.

Kristin was the most loving and giving person anyone could meet and if you were lucky enough to know her you know exactly what I'm talking about. She had the biggest heart and loved her family deeply, especially her boys and niece. She always went above and beyond to make the families birthdays and holidays special. She worked hard to make sure her boys never went without. Kristin was very artistic and loved doing all kinds of arts, crafts and science experiments with her boys. There will never be another Kristin in this world and for that we are truly saddened by her loss. Kristin, we love you and you will be forever missed by all.
