Lafae Proctor

Funeral services for LaFae Proctor, 82, of Hobbs, will be Monday, 10:00 a.m. December 19, 2011, at Chapel of Hope, officiated by Pastor Bret Bone. Visitation will be 2 4 p.m. Sunday the 18th at Chapel of Hope which is in charge of arrangements. She died December 13, 2011, in Hobbs. LaFae was born April 3, 1929, in Bonnerdale, Arkansas, to Walter and Fannie Bright. She married Doyal Proctor in 1949 at Lovington.

LaFae was a checker at Foodway Grocery for a time but mostly she was a homemaker. She was a member of Vista Pointe Baptist Church and she loved her family.

Her survivors are a daughter, Karen Proctor, of El Paso grandson, David Heath Cornelison, and wife Nancy, of Germany greatgrandson, Hunter Ryan Cornelison, also of Germany and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents husband son, Doyal Proctor sister, Doris Eva Hand and brother, Walter J. Bright.
