Lorene Cockrill 87, passed away on August 5, 2017 in Hobbs. Born in Windom, Texas on November 12, 1929 to Jasper and Nettie Lawson. Lorene loved her family, Northside Baptist Church and traveling with her husband. She worked at Claudia's Dress Shop as a clerk for awhile.
She was survived by her son Sterling Cockrill of Hobbs, daughter Deborah Light of Las Vegas NV and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Precede in death by her husband Sammy Cockrill and her daughter Linda Woods.
