Madaleine Bryant

A much-loved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister & friend, Madaliene Zeissel Bryant of Hobbs, New Mexico passed away peacefully at her home May 6, 2025.

She was born on December 8, 1934, in Munday, Texas.

Born daughter of John Frederick and Annie Babette Heigl Zeissel in Munday, Texas. Madaliene married Raymond Bryant in April of 1949 in Clovis, NM. Madaleine and Raymond had 2 sons in Clovis, Danny Bryant in 1950 and Lynn Bryant in 1953. Both married and have had daughters and then granddaughters. Both Madaliene and Raymond have had a long happy marriage of 76 years. Madaliene was most recently Baptized in Hobbs, New Mexico in March of 2000.

Madaliene received a certificate of training in Manpower Development and Training Program as a nurse’s aid in January of 1965.

Madaliene worked as a Nurse and physical therapist for several years.

Madaliene and Raymond had many dogs over the years. Any dog that found their way to their door found a home.

She is survived by husband Raymond Bryant, Sons and their wives Danny Bryant w/Celina Bryant and Lynn Bryant w/Janis Bryant, granddaughters with their husbands Brandy Bishop W/David Bishop and Tiffiny Dunnam W/Brad Dunnam, great granddaughters Collyn, Bryn, and Taylor.
