Maria Marin

Maria "Laura" Marin, 60 years young, gained her heavenly angel wings on November 29, 2018. Laura lived an extremely happy life surrounded by her husband, her children, her grandchildren and their loving church family and friends. Laura was called to her maker alongside with one of her greatest jewels, her firstborn Josefina "Josey" Valles. Josey and Laura were so inseparable, the good Lord knew one could not go on without the other and they entered the gates of Heaven hand in hand.

Laura also known as "Hermana Marin" (Sister Marin) was the loving wife of Pastor Jesus Marin. Their children are Josey Valles, Laura Castillo (Juaquin), Mireya Marin, Wendy Mendoza (Eduardo), Jesse Marin (Veronica), Rito Marin (Jessica), and Crystal Marin, their grandchildren, Valerie Chacon (Arturo), Mireya Adams (Kaleb), Jakob Mendoza, Natalie Mendoza, Zachary Tarin, Katelyn Aguirre, Zander Castillo, Lily Mendoza, Isaiah Aguirre, Daniella Marin, Eli Mendoza, Collin Castillo, Amaris Valles, Bella Valles, Anthony Marin, and Benjamin Marin and two great granddaughters, Miley Adams and Mikah Adams.

While her greatest joy was her family, Laura was known for loving everyone unconditionally. She maintained her small business "The Big Burrito" and loved everyone with the art of cooking. As the wife of Pastor Marin, she was the Co-Pastor of Cristo La Puerta where she so generously gave her time for prayer and helped anyone in need. One of her many talents was her heavenly voice. Her voice was so angelic many would find peace in her song. Although we have a void in our hearts, we know she had to depart before us to make sure our place is perfect for when we're in her arms again.
