Maria Reza

“Mary” “Mary Lou” Reza, 78, entered into the heavens on May 11, 2020, at her home in Hobbs, NM surrounded by her loving family.  She entered this world on February 14, 1942 in Pearsall, Texas to Juan Trevino and Augustina Moreno Becerra.

She met the love of her life, Victorio “Victor” G Reza, they married on April 7, 1969 in Seminole, TX.

Maria worked numerous jobs but settled in with Phillips Petroleum/GPM in 1977 as a natural gas plant operator, until she retired in 2001.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her loving family. She enjoyed all family functions and traveling to visit family.  Her family was definitely her main priority. She was a person that would go out of her way to help others in need.

Maria is survived by seven sons; David and Lisa Flores of Carlsbad, NM; Michael and Corina Reza of Hobbs, NM; Daniel and DeeDee Reza of Severance, CO; Tommy and Jessica Reza of Castroville, TX; her Baby Donny and Misty Reza of Granbury, TX; Chris Cofer of Hobbs, NM; Brian and Angel Cofer of Roswell, NM; two daughters, Tina Calderon and Terri Reza of Hobbs, NM; two sisters Rosa Vasquez of Corpus Christi, TX; Jovita Ramirez of Pearsall, TX; and a brother, Jacob and Simona Moreno of Pearsall, TX,  twenty grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and numerous loving family.

Maria was preceded in death by her mother Augustina Becerra, her husband Victorio G. Reza, a daughter Nancy Cofer, son-in-law Robert Calderon that she dearly loved, and grandson Robert Nathan Calderon.
