Maria De Jesus Gomez

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Maria De Jesus Sanchez De Gomez lovingly known as Chuya. She was called to the Lord’s presence surrounded by her beloved family and friends on January 27, 2023.

Chuya was a hard worker, role model, and woman of faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, shopping especially at DDs, and could often be seen having a segunda. She truly loved to help others with no regards. She was such a positive person and wasn’t ever seen without a smile. She was always cracking jokes or doing some random dance moves. She was a heart of gold that will be missed deeply by many.

Chuya is survived by her spouse of 47 years Pedro Gomez, son Peter Gomez, son, Lorenzo Sanchez, daughter Mayra Lopez, 2 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, 1 great-grandson, 1 brother, 3 sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.
