Mary Vasquez

Mary Helen Vasquez left this world to be with the love of her life on April 13, 2019.
Mary Helen was born to Delores Lopez on February 24, 1945 in Eunice New Mexico. Her family moved to Hobbs New Mexico where she met the love of her life, Joe Vasquez in 1965. They married and had 3 beautiful babies. Bernadette Ortega (Charlie) of Hobbs, Dominic Vasquez (Mechelle) of Hobbs, and Fredrica Flores (Jose) of Manhattan, Kansas.
Mary Helen was soon blessed with 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and many, many godchildren.
Mary Helen was a very active parishioner at St Helen Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic minister and Religious Teacher. Mary Helen leaves behind 4 sisters; Anita Maldonado (Raymond) of Hobbs, Becky Salazar of Hobbs, Rita Chavez and Patty Lopez both of Carlsbad New Mexico and 2 brothers; Sonny Lopez and Charlie Lopez of Hobbs New Mexico.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years Papa Joe Vasquez, her mother Delores Lopez, her sister Lita Lovas, and her brother Raymond Lopez.
Our parents are once again together and dancing in Paradise.
