Mauricio Jacobo

Mauricio Jacobo, 76, returned to his heavenly home on September 2, 2018 after a fearless battle with an illness. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and in due course gave him peace.
Mauricio was born to the late Eleno and Magdelena Jacobo, on September 13, 1941. He was immersed in the Christian community; which has been his lifelong support.
Mauricio was blessed with a large and loving family. He married his best friend, Refugio (Cuca) Jacobo, on February 11, 1961 in Hobbs, NM. Mauricio helped raise his four children with patience, discipline and humbleness. He taught them to live a righteous life and to serve God with all of their heart. From the very beginning, he dedicated his children to God and encouraged them to explore the beauty of the gospel. His wife returned to her heavenly home on October 3, 2005; he married Lupe Garza on November 18, 2006.
For those who knew him, Mauricio was a dedicated man of God and cared so much for those who didn't know Jesus as their personal savior and would lead them to know the Lord. He will dearly be missed by his loved ones, who celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his creator.
Mauricio is survived by his wife, Lupe; his sons Mauricio (Rosemary), Isaac (Melinda), Richard (Corina), Pete Jr. (Amanda), and Bobby (Jordan); his daughters Isabel (Jesus), Sara (Tony), and Rachel (Miguel); blessed with 25 grandchildren,16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. He is preceded in death by his wife, his parents, a sister, his brother, a niece, and a nephew.
