Mavis Warden

Mavis Marie Strickland Warden was born on December 3, 1935 in Gulfport, Miss. and passed away on March 21,2021 in Hobbs, NM at the age of 85.  She was preceded in death by her parents Amos and Effie Strickland, her sister Jeanette Harrison, and her husband Ottis Warden. She is survived by her sons Mark Warden (Angie) of Odessa, TX, Windell Warden (Bretta) of Hobbs, NM, Tim Warden (Carolyn) of Bryan, TX, and Mike Warden of Hobbs, NM., her brother Clyde Strickland (Katherine) of Heber Springs, AR, her grand-children Stephanie Warden, Katie Warden, Tim Warden Jr., Deidra Warden and Travis Warden, and three great grand-children Briley Slator, Christian Warden, Hailey Warden and numerous

nieces and nephews. Mavis especially enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling, and cooking for her family and friends. She was a faithful member of Northern Heights Baptist Church in Hobbs, NM.

She will be greatly missed.
