Melva Herrin

Memorial services for Melva Herrin, 62, of Hobbs, NM, will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home with Pastor LaVoid Ford officiating. Melva was born August 15, 1950, in Lubbock, TX, to James and Kathryn Peek. She died June 5, 2013, in Hobbs, NM. No viewing is planned for Melva, but a register will be at the Chapel of Hope Funeral Home. She was a member of Hobbs First Assembly.

She is survived by Winston Ward, of Hobbs, NM three sons, Wayne Truesdell and wife Tammy, of Sanderson, TX, Chad Truesdell, and wife Janeth, of Houston, TX, and James Ross Truesdell, and wife Heather, of Carlsbad, NM a daughter, Melissa Stokes and husband Chad, of Elgin, TX and eleven grandchildren.

Melva was preceded in death by her father, James Melvin Peek.

Family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to a nonprofit charity of your choice.

Services are under the direction of Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.
