Michael Spurgeon

Michael Ray Spurgeon passed away in Hobbs, New Mexico January 5, 2022.  He was born April 19, 1955, in Seagraves, Texas to Joe and Bonnie Spurgeon.  He attended school in Denver City, Texas and later joined the U.S. Army.  He spent several years working on a ranch and enjoyed his love of drawing.

He is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Bonnie Spurgeon and sister Betty Jo Trantham.

Survivors include sister Ernestine Thomas, Artesia, NM, brother James Spurgeon,Del Rio, Texas,  and numerous nieces and nephews.
