Michele Harrison-Valdez unexpectedly passed away on October 8, 2022.  Michele was a loving Wife, Daughter, Mother, Grandmother and Sister.  She was born in Denver City, TX on Oct 11, 1963.  She is survived by her husband Felix Valdez, Parents Bill, and Charlene Harrison of Hobbs, Five children, Dianne Lacey and SO Dusty Giles of Jal, NM, Josh Lacey and wife Stacey Lacey of Juneau, AK, and Jacob Bleu and wife Celeste Bleu of Angleton TX, Adam Valdez of New York and Crystal Powell and husband Chris Powell of Dallas. Five Grandkids that she is so loved and adored, Jerzey Andrae of Big Spring, Connor Andrae of Jal, Aiden Lacey, and Abby Lacey of Juneau AK. and Colin Bleu of Angleton, TX.    Brothers Michael Harrison of Hobbs and Berry Harrison of Hobbs with his Family of Katie, Dakota, Ethan, Owen, and Kolton.

Michele is and will always be the love of Felix life.  They were married for eleven years but had known each other much longer than that.  They loved to draw together and loved to laugh and enjoy each other’s company.  She is so proud of her children Josh, Dianne and Jacob and often remarked on how proud she was of each.  Spending time at their grandkids sporting activities and cheering them on, from Baseball to cheerleading and Football.  She was blessed to have time with her newest grandchild Colin.  Michele and her mother Charlene loved to take art classes and paint together.  Halloween is Michele’s absolute favorite holiday.  She would start in September and decorate almost every inch of the house inside and out.  She loved muscle cars, especially a convertible Ford Mustang or Dodge Charger.  A passion that she also had was plants and flowers, she took Horticulture classes and loved taking care of her plants and could bring plants back that other’s gave up on.  She loved her puppies Solo and Max.  She was one heck of a softball player.  Michele was a headbanger and often remarked how she could have been a groupie if only she were younger.  Purple was her color and lilies her favorite.   She will be missed by her family and friends and leave a void in their lives.

The family is requesting that those attending wear purple as that was Michele’s favorite color.  This is not required.  Your prayers and condolences are greatly appreciated by the family.
