Mildred Louise Brown was born on February the 26th, 1940 to the late Zeak Lovell and Jimmie Lee Williams in Quitaque TX. The family moved to Hobbs in 1942, where they planted roots and became lifetime citizens of Hobbs.

She attended Booker T Washington, then went on to pursue various fields of employment.

Mildred grew up with a passion for bowling and softball where she developed friendships that endured the test of time.

She had a genuine love and commitment to her family especially her grandchildren. She had unconditional love for any child or person that came through her front doors. Her home was always open to anyone.
