Misty Tobias

Misty Nicole Tobias, 17, of Hobbs, NM drifted into the arms of our Lord on September 5, 2019 with family and friends by her side.

Misty was a senior at Hobbs High School, and a member of the National Honor Society.  She had already been accepted to Texas State University and was planning on pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice. Misty’s greatest love was spending time with her family and friends.  She was never one to miss a family barbecue, where she could dote on her little cousins whom she adored.  She could often be found playing Xbox with her younger brother, going fishing with her dad, and trying out new restaurants with her mom and sister.  She was a hardworking young lady who took pride in working to pay for things she wanted, but she would be the first to give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. She was a sweet and thoughtful young lady who was so full of life, and her kind nature will be carried on through those who knew her.

She was the cherished daughter of Jason and Melissa Morgan of Hobbs, NM, loving sister of Alyssa and Caden, beloved granddaughter of Richard and Sophia Sosa of Lometa, TX, adored niece of Adam and Kassie Johns of Freer, TX, Lazarus and Sasha Salazar of Hobbs, NM, Daniel and Leaann Fierro of Hobbs, NM, and Vernardo and Shelby Ojeda of Midland, TX, and the treasured cousin of numerous nieces and nephews.  Misty will continue to live on forever in our hearts.
