Mitchell Lynn Levy

December 8, 1958 — March 5, 2026

Mitchell L. Levy

Mitchell Lynn Levy, born on December 8, 1958, passed away on March 5, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Mitchell was a beloved son, brother, father, and friend. A man of few words, he was always there for anyone who needed him, offering quiet support and a steady presence to those he loved.

He grew up working alongside his father and brother at Levy Auto Supply for many years, where he learned the value of hard work and dedication to family. Mitchell later earned his CDL and traveled across the United States, collecting souvenirs from the many places he visited.

Mitchell had a lifelong passion for motorcycles. He always owned one and loved showing it off. He was obsessed with anything electronic—from remote control boats and helicopters to drones. If it was electric, he probably had one. Mitchell was an avid pool player and was especially impressive to watch on the snooker table.

Mitchell will be remembered for his kind heart, his loyalty to those he loved, and the many memories he created throughout his life. He will be deeply missed and forever held in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Mitchell is survived by his father, Herman S. Levy of Hobbs, New Mexico; his brother, Michael R. Levy and wife Brenda of Hobbs, New Mexico; his sisters, Deneice Hase of San Juan, California, and Nancy Levy of Hobbs, New Mexico; his daughter, Cori Newberry of Seminole, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Sara Beth Levy of Hobbs, New Mexico.
