Nita Arsbon, 95, was born November 21, 1923 in Corsicana, TX to Lafayette and Vera Hall. She passed away in Hobbs on February 22, 2019.
In 1953 Nita married Red Arsbon in Lovington, NM. She volunteered at the Big Spring VA Clinic and was instrumental in bringing the VA Clinic to Hobbs and volunteered as a Pink Lady in Hobbs. She was a lifetime member of the VFW and American Legion. She went to the senior citizen dances every Friday night. Nita attended church at Church at Hobbs.
She is survived by her daughters Kim Arsbon and Rita Sousa and son; Tony Arsbon, and numerous grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, great-great-great-children.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Red Arsbon and her daughter Ann Myers, son William Sousa, her parents, and 12 siblings.
She will be greatly missed by all. She was loved by many. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren: Randi Chavez, Bryan Chavez, Alize' Juarez, Matthew Fuentez, Cody Arsbon, and Donnie Hart.
