Patricia Richards

A funeral service for Patricia Pat Richards, 86, of Hobbs will be Friday, Sept. 7,2012, at 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church. Pastor Harold Armstrong will officiate. Burial will take place after services at Prairie Haven.

A book will be available to sign at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home. Richards died Sept. 1,
2012, at Lea Regional Medical Center in Hobbs. She was born Dec. 11. 1926, in Paducah, Texas. She married Dave Richards.

She was coowner of Richards Electric. She served on the Hobbs School Board for two terms and served on the Manna Outreach board. She was a founding member of Highland Christian Church. She enjoyed gardening. Pats greatest joy in life was family.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include son Tim Richards and wife Donna of Hobbs grandson Wayne Richards of Albuquerque, N.M. two granddaughters, Karen Nicoles of Hobbs and Jodi Silva of Houston and four greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband Dave Richards and parents Lynn and Sara Hanks and 10 brothers and sisters.
