Patricia Ann Ridley

Patricia Ann “Bubbles” Ridley, 70, beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister, grandma, gg & aunt was called to her eternal resting place on January 7, 2026. She entered this world on September 6, 1955 to William (Bill) & Joyce (Jean) Henderson in Clarksdale, Mississippi. The family moved to Hobbs, NM in 1959, where she resided until her death.

Pat married the love of her life Ronald Ridley on October 16, 1998 in Lubbock, Texas & they would reside in Hobbs. She along with Ron, owned a mobile mechanic business for 17 years.

Pat had a million dollar smile & a bubbly personality that would brighten any room she was in. When she was a baby she would blow bubbles & her older brother Gary gave her the nickname Bubbles & from that day forward that was what she was called by family & friends.

Pat was known for her love of cats & had many throughout her life, but there were five very special cats to her. Fred (deceased), Gibbs (deceased), Jabs (deceased), Abby (alive) & Probee (alive). Her cats were her babies & her love for them was unconditional. Pat loved music, she loved to dance & if the beat caught her, she was dancing. Throughout her life she played piano & sang. Pat was loved by many & her absence will be felt deeply.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband Ron Ridley, her parents Bill & Jean Henderson, a grandson-n-law Thomas Pena & several family members.

Pat is survived by her daughter Priscilla Whitaker & husband Gary of Hobbs, her son Bill Lawson & wife Leah of Breckenridge, Texas. She is also survived by her brothers Gary Henderson & wife Mary of Paris, Texas, Jerry Henderson of Eunice, NM & Roger Henderson & wife Jennifer of Odessa, Texas. She is also survived by five grandchildren, granddaughter Sidney Arnold & fiancée Taylor Cupp & their four children Piper, Prudence, Mötley & Monroe of Hobbs, a granddaughter Chandlar Lawson & fiancée Lance Hoggett & their four children Cain, Arcadius, Coven & Selene of Hobbs, a granddaughter Reagan Harrison & husband Marty & their daughter RexAnne, a granddaughter JoClaire Stanley of Oklahoma & a grandson Justin Stanley of Lovington NM.

She is also survived by an aunt, Ludy Pettit of Houston, Texas, along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins & very close friends.
