Phyllis Gaddy

Phyllis Jeannine Talbot Gaddy, 71, left this earth on August 10, 2023.  Phyllis was born on May 3, 1952, to Fred and Alene Talbot in Alpine, TX.  She attended Hobbs High where she graduated in 1970 and married the love of her life, Bennie Gaddy.  They had been married for 52 years.

She was preceded in death by her father-Fred Henry Talbot, her mother-Margaret Alene Talbot, and her brother-Danny Talbot

She is survived by her husband-Bennie Gaddy, son-Jeromy Gaddy, daughter-Barbara Cross and her husband Jimmy Cross, granddaughters-Shaylan Plexico, and her husband Blake Plexico, ReAnn Cross, and Maggie Cross, sister-Janice Tucker and husband Jimmy Tucker, brother-Michael Talbot and spouse Kathy, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Phyllis worked for the Hobbs Schools for over 30 years.  She loved her children and grandchildren, loved to watch them grow. 

Phyllis, may you rest in peace-we love you dearly.
