Psalm 73:26 "My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."

It is with great sadness that the family of Ray "Reynaldo"  Garza announces his passing on April 13, 2023.

He was born on July 10, 1962, to Doroteo Garza, Jr. and Gloria Gonzales. He was lovingly raised from infancy by his paternal grandparents, Doroteo, Sr. and Maria Garza.

Ray grew up having many adventures playing outside with his sisters and cousins. He was also very athletic and gifted in many sports. He loved watching and cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys.

Ray enjoyed working with his father, Doroteo, Sr. in the cement business and learned many things from him. He was very proud of his home and took great pride in decorating it and keeping it spotlessly clean just as his mother Maria had instilled in him. He always took special care of his appearance and loved telling his family how good looking he was and reminding them that he was irresistible to women. He enjoyed playing pool and stayed fit by taking long walks. He was also a jokester and loved teasing everyone at family gatherings. He dearly loved his nephews and nieces, who spent many hours with him in his home. He will be truly missed.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents; Doroteo, Sr. and Maria Garza, mother; Gloria Gonzales, sister and brother-in-law; Yolanda and George Scott, brother; Raymond Garza and nephew; Joseph Lopez.

Cherishing his memory are his daughters; Rene Dominguez (Marco), Crystal Lira (Isaac), Gloria Flores, J’nae Garza, son; Javian Garza, grandchildren; Mikala, Izak, Zaniiyah, Maliyah, Anthony, Cyanna, Dominic, sisters; Patricia Hubbard, Ruby Villegas (Sal), Betty Mata, Rachel McCain (Richard), Teresa Bravo (Felipe), father Doroteo Garza, Jr., stepmother and half-siblings Chris, Ted, Edmund, Juan and Veronica Garza.
