Rheta Johnson

Rheta W. Johnson, 82, was born November 23, 1935 in Corona, NM to Wayne Knotts and Waunita Carlton. She passed away in Hobbs on September 29, 2018.

She moved to Hobbs in 1936 and called Hobbs her home ever since.

She is survived by her four children, sons; Erwin Wayne Johnson and wife Leta of Seminole, TX, Eric Johnson and wife Robin of Odessa, TX and Wayman Johnson and Bonnie Daughtery of Hobbs, one brother; Anthony Knotts of Colorado Springs, CO, one sister; Vivian Kelly of Pittsburg, TX, twelve grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband of 45 years Erwin Wright Johnson, two sisters; Bonnie Ponder of Hobbs and Billie Wynne of Stratford, OK and a brother; Kenneth Knotts of Hobbs.
