Rhonda Cobb

February 26, 1953 — March 31, 2018

Rhonda Gail Henderson Cobb went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ in her sleep on March 31st, 2018. Rhonda was the daughter of Morris and Ruberta Henderson and the sister to Robert Morris Henderson. Her parents and brother preceded her in death. Rhonda was married to and survived by her husband, Sam D. Cobb of Hobbs, NM and two sons, Phillip Cobb of Hobbs, NM and Jarred Cobb of Albuquerque, NM. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Maycie Cobb of Midland, TX and a grandson, Gatlin Cobb of Albuquerque, NM, a sister-in-law, Linda Keeney Gipson and brother-in-law, Edward "Hoot" Gipson of Lake Kiowa, TX, numerous nieces and nephews and hundreds of friends.

Rhonda was born in Graham, Texas on February 26th, 1953 and grew up in Crane, Texas. Rhonda was a cheerleader, Home Coming Queen and voted Most Beautiful in her class upon graduation from Crane High School in 1971.
Rhonda attended Texas Tech University where she met Sam in 1973. Rhonda and Sam married on June 12, 1976 and moved to Hobbs. She and Sam are the owners of RMS Foods, Inc. Rhonda also served for 10 years as the Secretary to the Athletic Director for the Hobbs Municipal Schools.

Her husband, sons and grandchildren were very important to her and she loved spending time and having conversations full of laughter with all of her "Heifer" girlfriends. She loved all of her dogs, cows and horses and had a nickname for every one of them. She loved to spend time outside with her plants and especially enjoyed sharing the backyard with friends and family.

Rhonda never met a stranger, loved to laugh and everyone that had the privilege of knowing her their life was blessed because of it.
