Richard Chanley

Richard Christopher Chanley 51, of Hobbs NM, passed away on July 21, 2023. He was preceded in death by his aunt Tena Anderson, uncle Johnny Martin, sister Rene Miner, and nephew Bobbie Sanchez.

He is survived by his five children: Richard Jr., Abigail, Glynda, Seth Thomas, and Gary, his mother Mary Chanley, father Rodney Chanley, fiancé Cindy Houston, brother Larry Faulkenberry and family, sister Jamie Urtiaga and family, and brother-in-law Justin Miner.

Richard enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends. He had a passion to race motorcycles, he loved fishing, and he enjoyed dropping a few dollars at the casino now and then.

Rich was dearly loved and will be missed by all his family. He left this earth too soon, but we all know he’s dancing in the sky with his sister Rene pain free and happy.

I know the road you walked was anything but easy

You picked up your share of scars along the way
