Ricky Ford

Ricky Wayne Ford, passed away Monday, February 24, 2020. Rick was born November 7, 1969 to Cecil and LaVon Ford and a big sister who loved him! Rick graduated from Hobbs high school in 1987 and continued his education in Las Cruces at New Mexico State University. Graduating with a degree in Hotel/restaurant management and education. He returned to Hobbs and was employed by the Hobbs school system for several years. He then pursued his dream of living in California where he continue to teach while he enjoyed the sun and sandy beach! During his time in California he was also building a business with his mother in real estate! Missing his family he returned to Hobbs! After returning to Hobbs he continued to build his business in real estate and became very successful. The things that Rick enjoyed most in life was working on property with his family but most of all his mother. Rick had lots of family and friends that loved him and will miss him.

Rick was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, his father and mother. He is survived by one sister, a niece and nephew, two great nephews, one great niece, his stepfather, two stepbrothers, two stepsisters, and his girlfriend.

We will miss you every day and our hearts are broken and lost without you but with each memory a smile will come as we remember your amazing life and strong love for your family. May you Rest In Peace.
