alignjustifyA memorial service for Robert L. O'Conner of Hobbs will be held Tuesday, April 14, at 11 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Robert Catherwood Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Prairie Haven Cemetery after cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.

alignjustifyMr. O'Conner, 70, died Thursday, April 9, at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland. He was born March 31, 1939, in Johnsonburg, Pennsylvania.

alignjustifyRobert served in the U.S.military. He was a very intelligent man, having traveled across the U.S. while working in the oilfields. He was a lifetime Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed following Nascar. Robert was a people person.

alignjustifySurvivors include a brother, Thomas O'Conner.
