Roberta Griffin

Roberta Jean Griffin was born on December 14, 1958. She passed away peacefully on Monday, April 26, 2021 at her home in Hobbs, New Mexico. She was born in Sterling, Kansas to Robert “Bob” and Nadine Fuqua.

She and her husband, Ronnie Griffin Sr. were happily married on December 4, 1976. They shared many precious memories during their 44 ½ years of wedded bliss.

Roberta was a member of the Lea County Sherriff’s Posse for many years. Her other hobbies included fishing, love of animals, and being a wonderful loving Mom to her son, Ronnie Jr. and his friends.

Survivors include her loving husband, Ronnie Sr., son Ronnie Jr., two sisters Sharon and her husband Kim Newcomb, and Shirley Fuqua. Also, many friends and extended family.

Roberta was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Nadine Fuqua, and one sister Theresa Ausbern.

She will be missed by all.
