Rodney Trammel

Rodney Morgan "Rod" Trammel, was born March 1, 1937 in Altheimer, Arkansas to Emmett and Evelyn Trammel. He passed away August 25, 2015 in Hobbs, NM.

Rod married Lucille Faaborg on June 21, 1958 in Aransas Pass, Texas. They had been married 57 years. He loved his grandchildren and taking them fishing. He enjoyed fishing, working on old cars and working in his garden. He liked to get up early and scare the paper lady. He will be missed by all.

He is survived by his wife Lucille of Hobbs, NM, his three sons; James Morgan Trammel of Hobbs, Richard Eugene Trammel and wife Robin of Corpus Christi, TX and Thomas Edward Trammel and fiancé Sandra Stewart, one daughter; Sherri Nixon and husband Rex of Hobbs, one sister; Geraldine Yardley of San Angelo, TX, six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
