Rolando Rosa, Sr.

Rolando R. Rosa, 81, of Hobbs, passed away on December 13, 2019 in Hobbs.

Rolando R. Rosa Sr. was born in Rio Grande, TX to Gabino Rosa Jr. and Rebeca Reyna on August 15, 1938.  He married Consuelo Calvillo in Hobbs, NM. He worked as a Pipeline Construction Foreman for Ferguson Construction for 42 years.  He was involved in church and he loved spending time with his family and friends.  His infectious smile will be dearly missed by everyone.

Rolando R. Rosa is preceded in death by his father Gabino, his mother Rebeca, his wife Consuelo, his three sisters Rafaela, Doraluce, and Irma, and his son Rolando Rosa Jr.

Rolando R. Rosa is survived by children Irma and Felix Aguirre of Midland, TX; Gloria and Andy Santos of Sequin, TX; Juanita and Raul Perez of Midland, TX; Martin Grimaldo of Sequin, TX; Luis Grimaldo of Sequin, TX; Jaime Rosa of Hobbs, NM; and Daniel and Erika Rosa of Hobbs, NM; brothers and sisters Gabino Rosa III of Hobbs, NM; Harvey Rosa of Baytown TX ; Maria Ortiz of Stanton, TX; Sandra Cabezuela of Van Horn, TX; Lorenza Rosa of Odessa, TX; Veronica Garza of Fredericksburg, TX; 30 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Gabino Rosa III, Ricky Rosa, Vidal Rosa, Carlos Perez, Diego Rosa, and Oscar Ceniseros.
