Rose Padilla

Rosemary died August 14, 2021, in Hobbs N.M. she was born July 19, 1949, in Tallulah, LA to Lamond and Hazel Bennett.

Rosemary was one of a kind, she loved life and all living things but if you got on her bad side, she would sure let you know how it is. She loved her cats and a person who loved her wrestling and her Dallas Cowboys.  She was a determined woman who was willing to do anything to get her own car, even learn to drive at a late age just to get her license and a brand-new car that was promised to her by her husband Gilbert. To do so she would drive in an empty pasture for hours at a time until she felt comfortable enough to take the test to earn herself the new car.

Rosemary is survived by her husband Gilbert Padilla of NM, brothers Johnny McLemore of NM, Eddie Bennett of TX, and Donnie Bennett and his wife Debbie Bennett of TX, sisters Jean Driver of NM, and Louise Driver of MO.  Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents Lemond and Hazel Bennett of TX, brother Calvin Bennett of TX, and sisters Dorothy Harris of LA and Bobbie Joe Fitzgerald of TX.
