Ruby Stovall

November 11, 1920 — October 18, 2012

Ruby Christine Stovall was 91 years young. She lived in Hobbs, NM, from 1951 until she went to be with her Lord on October 18, 2012. Christine spent the last four, wonderful years of her life living with her loving daughter and soninlaw, Fran and Don Board.
Christine was born to Perry and Verna Burleson on November 11, 1920, in Tupelo, Mississippi. It was also in Tupelo that Christine married her life love of 62 years, S.T. Ike Stovall. Ike and Christine, in true pioneer spirit, packed up their two girls and moved to Hobbs, New Mexico, in 1951 where they created a life of love and family.
Christine was preceded in death by her greatgrandson, Greg Howe, on January 22, 2003, and by her much loved husband Ike on February 4, 2003.
Survivors left to cherish her memory and anticipate our reunion include Fran Board, and husband Don, of her home daughter Bonnie Schenck, and husband Johnny, of Hideway, TX ,a daughter of the heart , Nita Davidson, and her husband Curtis, of Hobbs, NM five grandchildren, Lisa Nelson, and husband Tom, of Paradise, TX, Donna Conti, and husband Joe, of Hobbs NM, Cindy Torres, and husband Ralph, of Lindale, TX, Tim Board of Lovington, NM, and Jeff Schenck of Amarillo, TX five great grandchildren, Steven Scheller, Brien Holt, Michael Scheller, Justin Board and Branson Board and six greatgreat grandchildren and friends too numerous to name.
