Shannon DeAnn Navarrette

Shannon Navarrette of Lovington, New Mexico, received her eternal reward on March 27, 2026, peacefully surrounded by the love of her family.

Shannon was born on February 9, 1973, to Ernest (Ray) Walker and Patricia Workman. She was raised in Seminole, Texas. As a child she enjoyed Vollyball, Softball, and was a true daddy's girl at heart. She later met the love of her life, Jeff Navarrette, and the two were married in 1995. Together, Jeff and Shannon raised three wonderful children.

Shannon devoted many years of her life to her career in nursing, A profession she loved deeply. She had a gift of caring for others and made a lasting impact on the lives of all those she helped throughout the years.

Outside of work, Shannon found joy in fishing trips with her husband, Jeff, and treasured every moment spent with her beloved grandchildren. You could always find her at a game or tournament on the weekend or just spending time with those she loved most. Shannon's warmth, compassion and loving spirit will be remembered by all those that knew her.

Shannon was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest (Ray) Walker and Patricia Workman; Son-in-Law, Jonathan Weldy; Many aunts, uncles, and grandparents.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Jeff; Her children Nathan Walker, Stefani Martin and Husband Kasey, and Sierra Navarrette; Grandchildren, Kynslee Martin, Kalani Martin, Gavin Martin, Kambree Martin, Kendall Martin, Tristen Weldy, Oaklynn Weldy, and Braelynn Weldy; As well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
