Susan Ann Parker was born on March 12, 1960, to Henry James Edwards and Venora Mackey Basquez in Hobbs, NM. She married Roscoe Parker and was with him until he passed away.
Susan was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. She had a passion for fashion. She loved to go shopping, spending time with her family, and loved going to church. She was known for her infectious smile, generous spirit, and having such a big heart. She didn't mind telling you exactly how she felt. She touched a lot of hearts, she was one in a million and will be missed.
She was a faithful member of White’s Chapel. She loved going to church and also loved her church family. She loved attending Bible Band.
She leaves behind her one and only daughter, Falisha Edwards- Sanders; her grandchildren, Lexus Edwards of Midland, TX, Ashanti Edwards of Midland Tx, A’Briana Sanders of Denton, TX, Kierra Sanders of Midland, TX, and Suerenity Basquez of Midland, TX; her 8 great grandchildren; her sisters, Alice Edwards of Hobbs, NM, Tammy Jackson of Midland, TX, LaShawnda Brewer of Midland, TX, Tywanda(Carlos) Calvillo of Temple, TX ; her brothers, Jimmy Lee Johnson of Midland, TS, Gerald Sanders of South Carolina, Tywon Basquez of Hobbs, New Mexico, Herbert Basquez Jr of Albuquerque, New Mexico and numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her late husband Roscoe Parker, her parents, Venora Basquez and Henry James Edwards, her brother, Henry Lee Edwards her sister Jeanette Johnson and her brother-in-law Damien Brewer.
Susan's family was the center of her world. She cherished every holiday gathering, attending her great grandson’s football games, every birthday celebration, and every Sunday attending her Church, White’s Chapel.
