Tawna Bingham

July 24, 1959 — April 2, 2021

Hobbs

Tawna June (Sissy) Bingham, 61, our beloved Sister, was called to her eternal resting place on April 2, 2021. She entered this world on July 24, 1959 in Seminole, TX, born to John Earl and Bettye Bingham. She is survived by her sister Shelly Rachal (and Louis) of the home, brothers Mitchell Bingham (and Denise) of Hobbs, Sean Weeks (and Linda) of Fort Worth, Texas, and Bill Mangum of Farmington, NM. She is also survived by nephews AJ, Zac (and Myranda), Jordan and Connor and nieces Crystal, Kelsey and Kirsten, her second mother, Theresa (and Mac) Metoyer, and a host of extended family whom she loved so very much. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her maternal grandparents, Marion and Beulah Martin and her paternal grandparents, Mervin and Samantha Bingham.

Despite being born with mental limitations, Sissy did not let that define her. She taught herself to crochet and embroider, and her handiwork was impeccable. She loved music of all types and enjoyed singing and dancing, playing video games, watching game shows and all things Hello Kitty. But her greatest passion in life was her family. Sissy was loved by all who knew her and will forever be remembered for her beautiful smile and loving heart.
